Mini-Maestro

Mini-Maestro Model

The Mini-Maestro was developed to provide a lower-cost guitar while retaining the unsurpassed action, playability, and sound of the higher cost neck-through models.  As we all know, a bolt-on loses some of the great sustain and crisp, full sound provided by the neck-through; however this instrument takes a back seat to no one as a bolt-on.

The "Mini" uses the same electronics parts and hardware as the other models, but can be made more cost effectively because of the less time required to build.  The wiring scheme for this guitar provides:

Mini-Maestro Body
  • Bridge humbucker alone
  • Split-coils, inner coils in parallel
  • Split-coils, outer coils in parallel
  • Split-coils, outer coils in series
  • Neck humbucker alone

This guitar has a longer scale and two less frets than the other models.  This extra inch goes between the pickups to allow the tonal changes to be VERY distinct on this instrument.
